Thessaloniki is a sincere host for all festivals

Thessaloniki hosted 52nd international film festival between the dates of 4th November and 13th November 2011. There were many films from different countries and all films were dealing with different issues. As U.S.B. we saw three films names of which were El Estudiante, Good News and finally No Tengas Miedo.

The first film was about politics and viewpoint of societies about politics. The second film, Good News, was an Ulrich Seild film from Austria and made really impressive points about immigrants and being foreigner in a country. After the film broadcast, he also performed a workshop about the film-making. The last film named No Tengas Miedo was a Spanish film shot by Montxo Armendariz. The film was dealing with the subject of sexual harassment and left a deep impression on the audience.
